My zebra danios have become started looking sick two days ago and they are looking really bad. They are just floating at the top of the water not really swimming that much. They are barely/not even eating. Their underside looks white and they are kind of bent and emaciated looking. The water is good...ammonia = 0ppm, nitrite = 0ppm, nitrate = 15ppm. Any ideas what this could be?

Also...they just had fry...if that could cause anything

How are your other fish? are they swimming normally? Bent and losing colour could be a number of things, TB is one and parasites are another. I am hoping that by bumping this up one of the US folks will spot it and jump in as I have no idea what meds are generally available to you in the US

The rest of the fish are fine. Even the four zebra danio fry are fine. The other fish are an Angelfish, Bolivian Ram, Silver Molly, and Otto. I moved the danios to a 10 gal quarantine and the smallest adult died.

did any of them have ammonia exposure at the beginning ?

well they are about 6 months old now. i dont think ammonia could have done that. regardless, I havent had ammonia trouble...i make sure all my tanks are properly cycled.

would API quick cure hurt my fry?
