I have a 29 gal. tank. 8 weeks old. Still adding fish slowly. The nitrogen cycle was completed in about 3 weeks. I have been doing 10% partical water changes once a week. pH =6.8, alkalinity=80ppm, Hardness=90ppm, nitrite=0 nitrate=10ppm, 2 Angelfish, 4 guppy, 2Gouramis, 1 catfish, 3 small goldfish. the two Gouramis have a big white patch on there skin. It don't look like Ick to me because the Ick I am use to seeing is a lot of small white spots all over there body. This is one big patch that looks like a white blister. Anybody think they might know what it is? One Gourami is eating good the other is not but are moving well.?

you're right, it definitely doesn't sound like ICH but it could be lots of things, fungus, flex, columnaris. can you get a picture? do you have ammonia readings?
