My feeder
goldfish population was just entirely wiped out... which I'm not too upset about because I was looking to get rid of them anyways (though, not quite like that). But they all died, very quickly, and basically they looked like they were peeling apart and their eyes got cloudy and it looked like they had white growing all over them and in their gills.
But that aside, unless it's related, this morning when I first turned on the light I saw A LOT of little brown worms crawling on the glass and floating in the water. At first I only saw it on the glass and thought one of my cats had brushed against the back and I tried to brush it away... that was when I noticed the movement and the ones in the water, too.
I tried to Google it but I didn't feel like I got a clear answer. I plan to turn the tank into a tropical feeder guppy tank (please spare me any moral debates on using feeder fish) so I want to get this all straightened out. I don't have the parameters of the tank because quite honestly I'm not sticking any of my equipment in there knowing there's unwanted worms living in there.
Even if these things are harmless (which a few websites suggested), I'd still like to get rid of them.
