Peppered Cory has a rash/injury on his head

Actually, I'm not sure what it is. It simply looks like dead skin or an injury of some type. It's really light-colored and resembles dead skin. It is located on the top of his head and starts between his eyes and goes back almost to his top fin. He moves around normally as always and seems healthy, but I'm not sure what it is. Does anyone know what this could be?

Is there a possibility of a picture?

It can be a multiple of different things...Maybe just an injury from bumping into a rock/decoration? Using stress coat is always a good idea

I can't get a very good picture yet, but I do have stress coat and have been putting a few drops in the tank every few days. Like I said, there seems to be nothing else wrong with him. I'll give it a few days and see what happens. If anyone has any other theories, I appreciate whatever you have to say.

If your fish is not showing S/S of any problems other than an abrasied area, I would not do anything as long as you are doing reg. water changes and maintain good water quality, your fish may have just injuried itself on something in your tank, I would watch it for secondary infection and healing of the area. You really don't want to over treat or you can cause pathogens to become resitant. In my experence less is best unless you know what it is or it is problamatic/symtomatic

Thanks for the info...he still seems perfectly normal except for the fact that that spot on his head has not changed.
