jabob's molly update

Well, not any better of course, but new observation: it was a completely black molly, and now looks like regular scales are coming thru. Like losing color. It's not just funny colored spots, these are metallic.

But I do have good news! As of five minutes ago, I noticed that we have a baby!!! A tiny, tiny little pleco on one of our logs! Not even an inch long! I am so excited, and my husband is not home to tell!

Congrats !
According to your aquarium info you got your tank a month ago?
Did you breed the plec?
I have just purchased a plec a few days ago. just over an inch long too. Beautiful creature!

Well, this is really delayed, but I'm finally responding to this... We had already had a pleco before we got the new tank, then my husband bought another pleco after. We didn't even know their genders! And we had more than one baby pleco- the most I ever saw together at once was a grand total of six! I never did capture a pic of them, tho. Their hiding spot was very near the front of the tank, so they would scatter when I came by, or moved. About a month later, they found new hiding spots and I have only caught the slightest glimpse of one since then.
