one of my columbian tetras has suffered a pretty terrible injury his is tail broken and almost torn off and hes got fungus on the wound im not sure if he will make it hes still active but is starting to get lethargic

im doing daily water changes and treating with garlic guard and stress coat

can anyone recommend a really good fungus treatment?

I'm really sorry your tetra is hurt.
Any idea how it happened?
It sounds like it's infected. If you haven't already, he should be put in a Q tank so he doesn't picked on and you can treat him and not medicating the rest of the fish unnecessary.

Keep his water pristine. Rid Fungus or Fungus Eliminator are good fungus medications.

no idea how it happened it almost looks like he got crushed or caught under something

he seems to be doing alot better today fungus is shrinking and hes coloured up again

i think he well make it which is surprising considering his injury dont think he will ever be as strong a swimmer
