Hi,
My koi is not eating and is getting thin. He is in a 20 gallon tank with a shubunkin. We started treating the shunbunkin with myacin for a fungus a few days ago, and she is getting better, but the koi has stopped eating altogether.
The water tests look good and the tank filter was changed about 2 weeks ago. Water temperature is in the green zone on the thermometer (which means the fish have turned the thermometer and I can't read it properly!).
Please help!

I'm sorry your koi is worrying you. Have you thought about parasites? I beleive not eating and losing wait is one of the symptoms.

Hmmm...it might be, but I checked a website of koi diseases and I read all of the possibilities, and after observing my koi, I have discovered that he is breathing heavily, thin and not eating, and his eyes are slightly sunken in. I think it could be Eimeria, but I'm still not sure. Have you heard of these symptoms? And if so, what is your advice?

I've never heard of Eimeria. Losing weight and not eating is a symptom of parasites but I don't know what kind.
Did the web site give any advice about medications
