Gourami with possible Costia

I have a 6" snakeskin gourami "Pearl" in a quarantine tank with some sort of weird skin issue. She has had it for a while and I originally thought it was due to poor water conditions that it had been in before we "rescued' this tank and moved it to our house. However she seems to be getting worse. She's swimming fine, acting fine (she's always been a bit timid and shy) and she eats well but her skin has these sores and blemishes that some resemble scrapes and some look like a wound under the skin. From my research it sounds like costia and my fish guy thinks it's fungal. I've been treating her and an opaline gourami who also had more obvious fungal skin issues for a couple of weeks now with malachite green and lately fungus cure capsules which is a mixture of Victoria Green B and Neutroflavine. Truthfully I don't see much change in her condition - the opaline looks better but not completely. Anyone with any ideas or experience with this sort of thing. I know getting them better takes time but I feel so bad - they went from a 150 gallon to a 10 gallon hospital tank and the frequent water changes really freak them out!

Here's an old picture - there are two spots to the right of her eye and one on her underbelly (that one looks like it's under the skin almost like a water spot)
I'll try to get a newer more updated shot but it's a bit of a process ( I shoot picture - 16 year old son needs to upload it and put it on a usb drive for me to put on our computer - we have macs/ he has a pc) and you all know how teenagers are - what should take 15 minutes usually averages out to about a day and a half!

It looks like costia or a bacterial infection. Fish Protector, Garlic Guard and Vita-Chem are a good trio of non-meds to help and Triple Sulfa would be a good antibiotic.

At this point I think I'm ready to try the antibiotic because this poor 6 inch long fish has been sharing a 10 gal tank with a 4 inch opaline (who also has skin issues only not as bad) I feel so bad for them in these cramped quarters - the only thing good about the situation is they get all the bloodworms to themselves. Anyway if I treat them with the Triple Sulfa should I also add the other stuff too for good measure? I get nervous about adding too much to the tank!

Okay so now I'm desperate - it's been a month since the last post in this thread and my two gouramis are still in the 10 gal hospital tank. They are eating well and swimming fine and I have continued to treat tank with Malachite green as my fish guy keeps saying it's fungal and it takes time to heal. they look a little better but not cured and just today I noticed another small pink spot on the opaline. I know I said last month that I was ready to try antibiotics but I actually didn't - they make me really nervous! You are putting a very strong medicine into what is basically these fishes atmosphere and significantly changing it.
and FYI I couldn't find triple sulfa around here (maybe I didn't look hard enough)
I just want these fish to be better and back in their 150 gallon - frequent water changes in a 10 gallon are really stressfull on them - it's like they are left with a puddle before I add fresh water!
