Hi, My Name Is Armando And I'm A Bigginer.
Ihave A 40 Gallon Tank With 4 Gold Gouramis And 3 Blue Gouramis One Of My Gouramis Has Developed A White Stuff Near Her Dorsal Fin. I Do A 50% water change Every Week And Clean The Filters, What Can I Do To Cure It. Thanks For The Help

Hi armando...welcome to fishlore!!! if it looks like grains of salt, its probably ICH...and you need to slowly raise your temp in your tank to 83F for two weeks with frequent water changes to keep good oxygen in the water...warmer water has less oxygen....you dont need to clean your filters every week...as thats where the beneficial bacteria for your cycle is at...what are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate readings? goodluck and hope things work out for you
