Help my glofish

My glofish is either really fat or full of eggs. What can/should I do, it looks really uncomfortable!

If it is constipation you can try feeding it a cooked pea. Take the skin off the pea and break it up a little before putting it into the water.

Freeze dried daphnia are another good fish laxative.

You say in your aquarium info you have .5 ammonia. That means you aren't cycled yet! You'll need to do daily water changes to keep the ammonia away from your fish until the cycle is finished! (The only safe reading of ammonia is 0 - it is highly toxic in any amount!)

Thanks I know, I didn't realize at the time that I needed to cycle my tank prior to. I went to a pet store recently and the lady told me that continuous water changes will just keep beginning the cycle again, starting it over (I went in to get some prime). Actually now that haven't been doing the water changes the ammonia has gotten lower and my fish are better.

Doing daily water changes when cycling with fish will make the cycle take longer only because you have to keep removing the ammonia that the bacteria needs to develop.
However, since ammonia is toxic to your fish you must keep the level down with water changes.

Perhaps it wasn't clear or was misunderstood, but she meant small, partial water changes - not changing all the water.

I told her that I was doing 25% water changes, and the ammonia has gone down quite a bit and my fish are alot livelier.
