BIG VENT!!

The more I read about c. worms the more I am getting discouraged.
Most people take the lazy route and
euthanize all the fish in the infected tanks.

I can't do it!!! We've only been treating for 2 weeks and they've been exposed for 6 months. It's going to take awhile to completely get rid of these persistent buggers. These fish are my pets especially my betta and angelfish <whom I've grown out for 1.5 yrs now. My Plecos I have had for 2 yrs almost.
Prince and JB are the ONLY ones who had the worms who show no signs of a swollen anal area. The rest are still wormy. Eww!
Felix and Sunny have worms but they look as tho they are dying or drying up.
This is really hard on the heart.

I hope we don't lose any more fish babies.
I know the African cichlids are fine, they weren't exposed. There was no reason that they'd be near the other fish.
None of the plecos or otos are showing signs of infection (yet). The blue panaque, clown and snowball were all with the keyhole for a long time. They seem fine.
My question is this the fish plague on some level?
I am so upset today, that it'd be easy to just give up and start all over. BUT when it comes to my pets I don't give up unless I have no choice. Right now everyone is showing improvements on other levels. The betta except Felix are having a good growth rate on their fins.
*if I had of properly disinfected that 5g I treated the keyholes in back in March, my betta boys and girl RIP Holly would haven't been exposed either*
