hey guys

ive been cycling my tank for the last three weeks with shrimp and some flakes. the cycling process was completed and i went out and bought some rasboras. during the cycle i never turned the light on so i never saw the hundreds of tiny creatures at the botttom and on the walls of my tank. they are like tiny plankton and white in color and theres heaps of them!!!!

wanna know what they are and how they got there?? are they harmful? lice?

sounds like planaria...which is a small white worm that is in the aquarium from un eaten food ...they wont hurt the fish and matter of fact most fish will eat them..now that your cycle is complete, do a vaccuum and most will be taken away...otherwise your fish babies will have a nice treat
