Everyone else in the tank is fine but one of my flame gouramis.He is fat and is not eating. I just recently started givng them freeze dried bloodworms,I'm not sure if that's the problem or what.He only comes up to get a gulp of air.

The freeze dried bloodworms could very well be the problem, if you didn't soak them prior to feeding. The gourami could have eaten a lot of the dry worms, which then swelled in his stomach.

Fast your fish for a few days, then offer some very small pieces of of frozen, shelled peas.

Nuke the peas in your microwave for about 7 seconds, take the skin off, and break up the pea.

It's been a couple days since he has eaten.What do the peas do?

I think I might have to seperate him.The other dwarf is bothering him.

The peas act as a laxative and move along any impaction if there is one. I would seperate them if you can.

I posted some pics.It looks like his scales are coming off and behind his fin he has a sore there to!I seperated him it doesn't look good.

You could try treating him for internal parasites. That could be the cause of his bloating. When he'll eat, feed freeze-dried daphnia.

Oh dear..hard to say for sure, but he may have Dropsy.

Dwarf gouramis seem prone to getting all kinds of diseases.

Take a look and see if it sounds like that.

The peas didn't work, he won't eat so now I am medicating him for dropsy. He is a fighter!I thought I would wake up and he would be gone but he is hanging in there!
