Black spot on my tetra!!!

Hello a few days ago i nocited a tiny white spot above one of my black skirt tetra's eyes, since then the spot has turned from white to black and has doubled in size. I've checked out a bunch of web pages but can't seem to find something that matches what i see, so i have a pic attached that is of horrible quality but hopefully someone with a good eye can pick something out and tell me what it is and how i might go about curing it. I've done all my water tests and all are where they should be and i do regular water changes as often as i can.
If the pick is just to bad to see anything let me know and i will try to get a better one, but it took me about 10 trys just to get this one.

By the way he is the BS that is to the far left of the pic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the little fishy is just growing another strip. Thats what it looks like to me.

At a glance that's exactly what it looks like, but if you could see him up close like me you would notice that the black dot, spot or whatever it is, is raised up and looks more like some kind of bump, also like i said this started off with a white spot which is what caught my attention in the first place, it has just in the last couple days turned black.

Yea he seems to be just peachy, eats fine and is swimming around with his little crew same as always, just rather see if anyone might be able to recognize the bump/dot/spot and put my mind at ease or at least point me in the right direction on what it might be and how to cure it.

It could be a healing wound from touching the heater or an unknown injury. As long as he's acting and eating fine, I'd just go with Vita-Chem, Fish Protector and Garlic Guard added daily to aid in healing.

i had a gourami with a red spot under his chin last week. i couldn't tell if it was bacterial infection or a run in with a lava rock (wound). seems to be healing on my gourami. he was extremely playfull and active and showed no other signs of illness. his spot has healed quite a bit since and makes me wonder if your fish didn't suffer something similar?

To everyone who replied and added a little something, i thank you.
My comp fried and until yesterday i was without the internet(*GASP*) but i'm now back online and headed here to update you on my fish problem.

So he still has this black spot although he acts exactly the same as always and it doesn't seem to have gotten any worse, maybe even a bit better. During my time away i medicated the tank with jungles lifeguard all-in-one treatment, hoping to fluke one of the ailments it says it helps cure/prevent. Not sure how well it worked but i did everything it said and at the worst, nothing has gotten any worse and he's still the same ol fish. So i'm gonna keep a close eye on him like i've been doing and if anything worth mentioning changes i'll be back to update once again.
