i think my fish has/ had it but not sure what is it, how do i identify it and how do i treat it?

not sure on treatment but if you look at the fish and it's scales are sticking out giving it the typical " pinecone" look it has dropsy..good luck

well then it definitly had it but it seema to be "deflating" slowly

What kind of fish? What are you doing for treatment? Dropsy is about 95% fatal and usually caused by tumors, parasites or bacterial infection. You may have a case prompted by constipation? Have you made any diet changes for this fish?

its a goldfish that is living in my pond and there was a diet change recently but none of my other goldfish were effected by itit seems to be fine now i didnt do anything for treatment
