Please don't kill me, I actually did use the search funtion and read a bunch of threads about salt in freshwater tanks. But I didn't really see the answer to my question, so I'm posting another add salt to freshwater tank question.
I have 3 platies in a 10 gal tank. One appears to have
ICH. I started meds today, raise temp, and was considering adding some salt. The salesperson at the store told me they make brackish water with non-ionized table salt. That didn't sound right to me, I thought I needed aquarium salt, but just let it slide cause worst case senario, I just go with the increased temp and meds.
Should I add a lil non-ionized salt? Or just go with the temp/meds?
Thanks for your time and input.
