yellow spots

I just noticed that my two dalmation mollies have yellow spots on them. Is this some kind of disease?

How yellow? Is it a pale, sickly yellow (sorry, I can't come up with a better description) or a bright yellow? There are some yellow mollies, and these things will cross-breed with each other without a thought.

It sounds like it could be velvet.. but it may be natural coloring. Do you have a picture you could post?

I could be wrong, but I think that's natural coloring. I would watch for any changes though, just in case.

It hasn't gotten any worse so you may be right. Thank you. I will keep watching them.
Thanks
