Ok guys and gals I really need help with this one...My betta Othello has a fungus problem he has had it umm..hmmm since i've had him...and while it is not getting worse it is not getting better either...I have tried Marcyn marycyn2, marcyn plus and for the heck of it clout..(yeah I knew it wouldn't work but I still had to try) He seems and acts completly healthy and it has not spread to the corys in th etank with him at all..does anyone know of any other medication I could try?

Have u tried methylene Blue?

Most times when my fish is unwell I treat with methylene blue first. Only if unsuccessful then I try other medication. I learn this from the forum.

We treat in an isolation tank as we don't want to affect the main tank.
**In the isolation tank, we add aquarium water and fresh clean water (1:1).
Add methylene blue according to instructions on the label.
Aerate the isolation tank vigorously.
Do the same again after 2 -3 days (Pls note**must ensure you add new aquarium water and new fresh clean water each time u treat the fish in the isolation tank)
Repeat until fish gets better.

None of those meds would really be for fungus. I'd try Rid-Fungus. It's worked really well for us.

IDK the stupid box said one of them at least was for fungus though I dont remeber which one..I'll try the rid fungus and see what happens thanks.
