Hi Everyone...I'm very sad to report we lost almost our entire tank{144 G}. Late Tues night, my husband checked the water, had been keeping up w/water changes etc.4 hours later we check and it was a catastrophic sight. We only saved two Discus, Pink challiss, one glass cat,2 clown loaches,3 rummy nose and a couple of cherry barbs. That same day,one of husband's key employees has a heart attack,start more injections into my spinal canal and my computer died.
Ok..thanks for allowing my pity party. We are crushed about the fish. The original Discus that was sick is doing great.

I'm so sorry, I always have a rough time losing a fish. losing that much must hurt.
We're so sorry you had such a bad day there & hope things are going to be getting better soon.
Being disabled is still fairly new to me. The adjustment of being home alone most of time is tough. My old job required a lot of travel in Europe and USA. My world now is very small. I would sit in front of the tank and watch the community interact. So, the anger I feel towards the LFS is amplified. These guys set up the tank{rough rocks} put fish in that don't necessarily get along and never show up in an emergency. I know it is/was our responsibility in doing the research, but they should have some culpability in this. It is all I can do not to put a huge sign on and walk{ok..very slowly on my walker}in front of the store. As soon as you stop spendng the big bucks, the help goes out the window.
That's why the good ones are so great to find.
