| Hi, could you tell me how many gallons your tank is, and how big your oscars are? They need a lot of room once they are older otherwise they can become very aggressive. With others in the tank too, it may not be a good idea to put the wounded one back in once he has healed.
To stop the wound getting infected, I've heard that you can dab it with 'Mercurochrome' or 'Betadine' which you can usually buy in pharmacies. If your oscar is too small to be able to avoid eyes / gills, try adding methylene blue to the water, and keep the salt. This should help heal the wound and stop it from getting infected, but until he's better, make sure you keep a close eye on him, in case any infection does set in.
