No immediate Help needed

A couple of weeks ago after changing my filter cartridges I noticed a few little worms squirming around in the water. I took one in a container to my LFS and they suggested a parasite guard from jungle labs (http://www.junglelabs.com/pages/details.asp?item=NJ111). I bought it and dosed the tank with the recommended dosage. I didn't see them after that until today. I was changing my filter cartridge and I took a spoon and stirred up the bottom of the filter container. Suddenly Thousands of little worms came out of the filter outtake!!!!! I immediately dosed the tank with the remaining parasite guard. I have come to the conclusion that the little worms are living in the bottom of the filter. The formula I am using dose not seem to be doing anything. One thing that surprises me though is that I am not seeing any of the worms on my fish. It just seems like they aren't doing anything. But I am still nervous that they will harm my fish and my aquarium ecosystem!!! Does anyone know what I am dealing with hear?!

I'm guessing planeria. They are not harmful, though they can indicate that there is too much waste in the tank (or in a part of the tank, as in your case).
You might want to pull the filter out (keep the filter media in a bucket of tank water) and give it a good cleaning.

Yea, that's a lot of planaria! I agree with SDS on what to do.
