A few hours ago I cleaned my 5 gallon planted tank. It looked great! A few hours later I come back and my water is super cloudy and there are hundreds of tiny living organisms all over the glass!! Slug looking ones and wormy looking overs that slide over the glass and little white specs that hop their way across my tank!!!! are these harmful? Why would my water do this after a water change? are these parasite things harmful to my fish... I feel another water change would stress out my animals further. I have no alternative tank for them to be in.... and mom is yellin at me to go to bed so there is nothing I can do!!!!! omg i hope its not a big problem. im scared......

I don't remember what they are but I believe Rose does. Do frequent water changes of say a gallon and get all the junk the fish produce out of the tank.

If they're planaria, they should go away after a few water changes and reduced feedings. Planaria look like little white worms.

I woke up this morning and the water is crystal clear and there are no sign of the little parasites.... wierd....

they werent planaria, because ive had planaria before.... They were white specs and "hopped" around the glass.

Do you vacuum the gravel regularly? Have you recently gotten any new fish? Do you feed live foods?

I vacuumed the gravel yesterday.... I have not recently added any new fish......I feed frozen bloodworms, not live.
