Hello everyone. I have a 55 gallon tank that I have a large Oscar (about 14") and 2 tinfoil barbs (both about 9"). Everyone was getting along great for about the passed 6 months but 1 of the barbs got a bad case of Popeye. I got the popeye cleared up, but the Oscar started picking on this barb. This weekend I was able to quarantine the barb in a 10 gallon tank to help it out. The barb has lost allot of scales on the one side of its body and has had some pretty bad flesh wounds from the Oscar. I gave it a pretty good dose of Nov Aqua and some Ick prevention Med when I set this tank up with 90% of the water being from the 55.*It is doing very good in the 10 gallon tank. My question is there anything medication wise that I could or should add to the tank to help this barb heal its wounds and grow scales back or is it just a waiting game with it by itself to heal. I hope someone can help me and this poor Barb out its been a real nice fish. I would like to make it healthy again and put it back in the 55 again. Thank you in advance! Have a great weekend!
