it seems everytime I turn around Julian has developed a new case of finrot. the first time it was excusable because his water was freezing, even the second time it was ok because his new tank mates had finrot... but this is the 4th time he has had finrot now. The tank temperature is allways warm and the water is perfectly clean, what more does he want? I wont be able to pick up any meds for a couple days will he be ok if I raise the temp into the 80's?

I have a Betta that is going through not tail rot anymore, but I'm trying to regenerate his tail now. It's pretty short. I had him on Melafix and I'm sure you know about that too. I was told that as long as the tank is kept pretty clean and the temp is raised to 82 degrees that it should be OK, but I would get some kind of Med as soon as you can so that it doesn't get worse. Do you have any aquarium salt? If you do that will help the finrot too with the raised to temp to 82 degrees until you can get something else. Natalie
