I've been using melafix for about a week and a half now, due to fin rot & torn fins, he is in great health and seems to be doing just fine.

What do you have? He may be fine now, but down the road he could develop problems with his labyrinth(lung). I have lost a Betta due to that medicine as well as another member here. Please just take caution with that medicine. If you have a labyrinth breathing fish I would stop using it. There are other medicines that are safer to use with fin rot. If he doesn't have symptom's of it now, he could develop them later if you use it in the future and possibly die from it. Natalie
