clown knife...not sure if it has a problem.....

my clown knife is very active and is eating well, but it has some patches that I am worried about being fungus. But...they do not appear to be getting worse and look more shiny silver than white, almost as if this is just a dis-colorization than a problem. It is not covering his entire body, it is isolated in one area and is pretty much the same on both sides.

Question is, should I treat it to be sure or just watch it for awhile longer?

And also, can fungus be treated in a planted tank with damaging the plants? I once stupidly treated a tank for ick....and had less thna desirable results.

thanks
Jim

Fungus looks like fluffy patches of cotton on your fish. Check the diseas list and see if it looks like something else. If you can post a picture, that might help us also.

Looks like typical minor dings and scrapes that a lot of larger fish get.

If anything changes, let us know.
