Gray

One of my Danios has started swimming on his side and then darting around. He keeps on doing this. I have recently got a couple of Mollies have noticed they have little yellow bit on them and they are scratching on the rocks. I am thinking Oodinium. Would this affect the Danio as described or do I have another problem like Flipover, swim bladder disease or Neon Tetra disease. Any advice would be appreciated.

First, when did you set up your tank? How soon after you set it up did you add your fish to it? How large is the tank and what and how many fish in total does it have? Are you familiar with the Nitrogen Cycle?

If the fish is swimming on its side it may have a swim bladder disease. If fish have grain-like spots on their bodies, they may have ich. But you should first check with the Disease Chart provided on the top of this board.
