My fish seem to be congregating in the same spot and they are dying 1 by 1. Ive had the tank for over 1yr and clean it regular and use water treatments, but all of a sudden they are dying. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

water change is the best solution at the moment, we have to know how many fish do u have, if it is overstocked than the fish will die eventually, they r dying may be of ammonia poisoning.
Perform a water change and see what happens, u can also use medication found in the LFS.

What do you use for water conditioner? I'd recommend the API master freshwater kit to find out what your tank chemistry is. How many gallons is the tank and what's the exact numbers & types of fish in it? Do they show any external symptoms? Do they eat? How often and how much water do you take out when you do water changes? What do you feed them?
