Start to bring the temp up, you want to be at 80 deg, but only bring it up by 2 deg per day

Leave the carbon in the filter, DO NOT ADD ANY MEDICATIONS, ick can best be treated by raising the temp. the carbon will remove the meds that went in the tank last night. I will post a link for you when I find it again

Thats ok,
can you put another air line in the tank? and prep some water for a 50% water change.
How old is the carbon in the filter? if it is more than 3 weeks old I would look at changing it as it will be full of the meds,
Just a note on carbon.. It should be removed if you are using meds, as it will remove the meds from the water.
I would not add the salt, and would only raise the temp to 82 deg at this point, I seam to remember reading that 82 was the temp for treating ick, I am sure one of the mods will post shortly and add anything I have missed.
Now calm down and have a cup of coffee.

The fish should be fine at 82. bring the temp to 80 for now, get the air stone then raise the temp to 82.
get some new carbon when your at the lfs and replace the old.
Your not a bad fish mom, ick is just one of them things that happen.

The way we treat ich is 2 weeks at 82-84F, water changes of at least 25% every other day (try to get the replacement water close in temp if possible), weekly cleaning of the substrate and Ich-Attack added to the water (optional).

Everybody panics the first time they encounter an illness. It's normal.
Raising the temp is good, and if nobody has suggested it here, I would put some fresh AC into the tank for an hour or so to get the remnants of the ich cure out of the water. I'm not a big fan of medicines when they aren't necessary.
Some vitachem will help your fish's bodies stay strong enough to survive the infestation, as will high-quality food. (I suggest OmegaOne or homemade)
As Peterpiper said, I wouldn't worry with the salt.
The advantage of the high temp cure is that it attacks the cysts, rather than the parasites. This may take a longer time, but it also means that the current parasites are the last generation that will hatch from the cysts.
