Medication and fry

What is the consensus on medicating a tank with adult fish and fry? I have a sick guppy in my 10g tank along with 2 other guppies and maybe 12 fry that dropped the other night. I was going to get a small tank to put the fry in over the weekend, I just wont have time until sunday to do so.

It's a fungus or parasite. I don't know which. I'm just gonna medicate for both using those fizzy tabs. I got a chance to get about half of the fry out of the tank and into thier new temporary home. If I lose some of the fry in the main tank, then oh well. I was planning on using the fry as treats for my tiger barbs and red tail shark that are in my 29g.

If you're treating for a fungus, you can use Rid-Fungus and it shouldn't affect the fry any.
