Ick emergency

I've been treating my black molly for 2+ weeks for ick and it is still there. I've kept the temp. above 82 degrees and cleaned the gravel 2 times a week. Even worse I'm leaving for vacation friday. Please help.

If you've kept the temperature at (I wouldn't suggest above) 82 degrees farenheit for 2 weeks, constantly, then you should not still have ich. Are you getting "above 82 degress" by looking at what the heater is set on or by what the thermometer is reading as?

Do you have a picture you could post of your black molly?

That's what I'm thinking. I saw what looked like white spots around the head and dorsal fin. My fish must have been scratching on the bottom because I don't see much of it now. I'll try to post a picture asap.

Hmm.. I'm really not sure from the pic and I hesitate to make a guess. I'd try taking another pic of him tommorrow and see if he looks the same.
