Who's in pain here?

OK, i just finished treating ich with QuIck Cure containing malachite green. with some research, i hear it is sometimes harmful to scaleless fish and tetras. My tank has black tetras, cories, a clown pleco, and a platy. Who has sensitive skin and may be suffering from malachite green?

Unfortunately, all of them can be affected my the malachite green. If it's still in there, I'd clear it with carbon. Just warming the water temp to 82-84F for 2 weeks combined with water changes and cleaning the substrate will clear most ich without needing meds.

I think coppersafe is a good treatment for external parasites. It doesn't seem to harm the fish at all because I used to used it with every water change...on the advice of someone I thought was an experienced aquarist...but now know is full of crap.

I broke that habit, but still keep it around and use it if I see my fish glancing or anything.
