Has anyone dealt with Henneguya or Glugea

Henneguya or Glugea with their fish? I believe my BN pleco (another member believes this too) has Glugea. I have researched the net and this is my conclusion. Here are the latest pics, please excuse the floaties, I had just fed him. The newest things in my tank were a live plant and a vit. pyramid, (which Bud, BN, liked to suck on!)

I really wish I could help you..but I'm not very experienced in this area...like you..I only know what I read on the net...how's your fish doing ? I hope everything has resolved itself ? I hate to see a fish sick...hopefully someone else with savvy can help you out here.

Thanks so much for replying, but Bud passed a day or so after that pic. I think it was Glugea/Henneguya (both are similar, and if I understood correctly, only a microscopic slide of it could determine which it was$$$), there is not a cure for either. Crazy thing was I thought he was getting better. Eating and moving around more. The cysts were getting smaller... you just never know. You do the best you can an go from there. It can get you down at times though.

Sorry to hear that you lost him.
There'll always be something that we can't cure, but knowing that doesn't make losing our fish any easier.
