First of all (see my other post under
nitrogen cycle) I woke up to find my platy dead. Had her for 2 days - took it back to the fishstore along with a water sample and the water tested fine. Decided to not try another platy right now so I bought 2 cory weitzmani's. Came home let them aclimatize for about 1 hour set them free. A couple hours later I find a dead glow-light tetra - hadn't really noticed anything odd about the tetra's behaviour. Now my serpae's have gone "nuts" the three of them are swimming against the glass in the same spot for hours now - if I put my hand there they swim away but then come right back. Can fish go crazy? Are they trying to escape? I also notice on their bottom fins - the tips look really white - is this normal?
This aquarium thing is alot more difficult than I expected.
At least the cory's seems to happy together - they are really cute and follow each other around. And when they think you aren't looking they are really active!
