Ill gourami Photo included

Hi,. without me posting all the details of my tank, can someone explain what this is please?

its clearly not colouration!!!!!

they are sticking out, they look like blisters.

Anyone else plz?

That looks & sounds like ulcers. Maracyn Plus would be the med for that since he can't be treated with melafix (deadly to Gourami). If you have a hospital tank to treat him in, that would be best so the other fish don't have to be stressed by the meds.

Whats the cause of this? My water quality has always been good and nothing has changed in the tank!

They sometimes just pop up like that, even in clean & cycled water.
