I have a sick platy but I can't seem to find anything online as to what could be causing it, he's laying against the gravel gasping. He's also gotten paper thing, any ideas on what it could possibly be? nevermind the fish up and went dead.

I'm sorry that you lost him. What do you mean by paper thing? Do you have other fish in the tank?

My fish was breathing heavily against the gravel but I saved him. He didn't have a paper thing but I treated it with bacterial antibiotic.
