jungle fungus clear

I picked up a box of jungle fungus clear when I brought my 2 new bettas home today, as they both were showing signs of finrot.
My question is... does this stain? I currently have them in plastic containers (19 qt size).
Both bettas will be moved into their 10 gallon glass tank homes this weekend... would it be better to treat them now in the plastic tanks (and risk staining everything) or treat them in the glass tanks on saturday?

can u throw the containers away??.. i'd vote for ur bettas' health rather than saving a couple of containers.. u know? if finrot gets bad enough it can be lethal..

I can throw them away if need be.
Another concern... if I start treating them now in the plastic containers, will I have to wait until I'm done with treatment to move them into the 10 gallons? (it says to add the first dose, wait 4 days, do a 25% water change, then repeat dose) They don't have any filtration in the plastic containers that they are currently in, but they do have heaters.

Yeah JFC stains...I think it has methy blue. It'll turn tank silicone bluish. I think you'll be fine treating them in the continers...just maybe cut down on feeding since no filters. I would complete the whole treatment before moving them.

Thanks for your help! It's been such a long time since I've had a betta who actually required medication, I'd forgotten some of the important stuff! (which I guess is a good thing, that Betta has been healthy!)

The fungus clear will stain almost anything thanks to the meth. blue and is best dosed in a tank since the tablets are for 10g. We use Rid-Fungus instead. What does the finrot look like? It could be bacterial or both bacterial and fungal in origin.
