My guppies are unhealthy

I don't think my guppies are doing well. Yesterday I turned on the radio and
Rick Astley's ''Never gonna give you up" was playing. And the next day
my guppies didn't look so good, and one of them was dead. Now they are
going up to the top of the tank gasping for air. The question is: wHY didn't
they like rick astley?

Gasping for air has an obvious reason, lack of oxygen.
Do you have an airstone in your tank? Is it a tall tank or a wide tank? (a tall tank has less surface area than a wide one, which means less gas exchange)
Another possibility is ammonia poisoning, which damages the gills, making it difficult for them to get oxygen out of the water.

Other possibilities are parasites or some sort of gill infection.

Or they could just really hate Rick Astley

Are their gills reddish? What is the ammonia reading in the tank?

How big is the tank & how many/what kinds of fish? Is it cycled?

Give as many of the facts about the tank and fish as you can:

tank size
how long you've had the fish
how close it was to the radio
what your waterchange schedule is
what your feeding schedule was and how much
What other fish are in the tank with them
what chemicals you use in the water
what is your nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, pH
What is your male to female ratio of fish
Have you ever had problems with them before

Any other questions not asked above that you want to answer, feel free. The more information you provide the more we can narrow down the possible causes.
