Silver shark needing urgent help!

I had two silver sharks in my tank, bought 3 weeks ago, they have been very happy up until tonight, when i noticed one of them was swimming head down, then i found him dead soon after at the bottom of the tank, i have now noticed that the other shark is doing the same, swimming head down and when it does turn back up to swim, it is swimming to the side, he is also dull in colour. Help!!! what do i do? i checked the water quality and it is al good, and all the other fish seem happy.

They could have been sick when you bought them, or they developed a bad case of swim bladder disease. What are you feeding them?

Ive been feeding them just complete flake food, but they have been eathing the plecs pellets, i also gave them bloodworms last night as a treat, just ones in a sachet from tetra, not fresh or frozen ones

Swim bladder disease is usually caused by constipation, but is not usually fatal that quickly, even if they overstuffed themselves on the bloodworms (I assume you're talking about the freeze-dried type). Are they showing any other symptoms? Take a look at this article and see if anything matches up: http://www.fishlore.com/Disease.htm

I had a good check of him and he looks fine, except swimming funny and not so bright looking, he seems to be hiding quite a lot, and not swimming around so much. i read the one for swim bladder, and might try the peas, do you know what type are best?

Use frozen peas, thawed and peeled and cut into bite size pieces. You should also quarintine him if you haven't done so already in case he has a contagious infection.

welcome to fishlore.. i'm sorry it's not under better circumstances. I would try the pea diet for a day, then fast him for a day or 2, then the pea diet again, followed by another fast if he needs it.
