I don't know where else to put this but . . . My red-bellied piranha's belly . . . is white and not red. Any ideas as to what caused this? Is he sick, is he just still young, or what? I don't want to lose Kyo . . . He's my baby. . .D:

welll alot of fishes colors fade when there stressed..but if hes young he proubably just hasnt gotten all of his color yet

Faded colors is usually due to stress or disease. What are your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates? What are you feeding? (feeder goldfish sometimes carry diseases) Are there any other physical or behavioral symptoms? Oh and I guess I should have asked this first, is this a sudden change or has it always been that color? Cause it's possible it's a juvenile coloration or something.

Are you able to get him a buddy or 2? I'd look at his food supply and/or the current water parameters. The white area isn't fuzzy, is it?
