Needing some good advice

I dont know if anyone has read my previous posts on my problems with disease on danios,in short something wrong with them not sure what 2 out of 5 left decided 2 stop using meds as it wasnt helping n not sure what im treating. Since no meds the 2 left seem fine although a white dot on the mouth of 1(which has been there ages),not affecting it though.Im wanting to add dwarf loaches 10 or more i now have a quarantine tank gunna move danios into that and loaches into main 240l tank they was in.Is this advisable im concerned that whatever was wrong with danios may stay in tank,is this possible?Or are fish disease gunna stay with the fish,if any still with danios. If disease in tank should i treat an empty tank with meds first?

Hello Leokiss
sorry to hear your still having problems with your danio's. My advice would be to not add any more fish to that tank as yet. You still do not know what is wrong with the fish and what disease they may have if any. If you were to add any more fish right now you would be exposing them to whatever is ailing the others.
Maybe you can add the fish you have now to the Qtank that you have and treat them there and watch for any problems. After that you can do a full vacuum and water change in the old tank, and even tho I probably wouldnt add any fish at this time, but if you do, at least you will have got the sick ones out and cleaned up the tank. Also a good water change, some charcoal in the filter can clear out all the meds from the water that you used. No since giving new fish meds if they are not sick. Wash down the inside glass and decorations as well.
Good luck if you end up introducing new fish at this time...
