Help Need diagnosis

My mollies began acting strangely last week. I thougt my female was pregnant, but now I think they are both sick. My water quality is good. nitrate = 0, ammonia = 0, but the pH is really high. 8.4. It is usually high. The only thing I did differently is try to add a PH lowering chemical. I followed all the directions, the PH only got higher. I decided not to add any more. Since then I have changed 30% of the water, and added salt, and changed the activated carbon filter. (I was told salt can help stressed fish) They are still not doing good. They both have clamped fins, and are acting lethargic. Their fins look shabby too. I don't see any other physical changes. Any suggestions? Another water change maybe?
All I gave them to eat today was a frozen pea, because the male keeps pooping and I thought he might be a little backed up. They haven't touched it, it seems they have no appetite. HELP

Septicemia
Sluggishness, lack of appetite, fin damage, reddish discoloration, bulging eyes, clamped fins.

Antibiotic treatment in food form is required.

Does this match what you're seeing there?

You can usually get the medicated food at PetSmart.

yup

Those symptoms sound exactly right. Is it a parasite or a bacteria? Which disease does it sound like. Which one should I use? Do you know any local store that might have those medications. I have meds that treat the water, but not ones to be injested.

I'm sorry, I put the wrong link in my previous post.

"Ultra Cure BX" is what you'd want to look for. It may be at either Petco or Petsmart or a local LFS, but you'd have to call them to see if they stock it. Or you can order it from the company.

another product to look for would be Kanaplex:
http://www.seachem.com/products/prod.../KanaPlex.html - which could be ordered from the company if you don't have it locally.

or if you can find a med with the main ingredient of "kanamycin sulfate".
