Has anyone used Molly Bright or know about it?

I was told Molly Bright would cure Mollies of the shimmying thing they do. I am afraid to use it without more information. Can it hurt my fish? Is it ok for the filters?
Has anyone used it with success? Thank You!

Shimmy is not a disease, but a stress-related symptom caused by poor aquarium conditions, a vitamin deficiency or the onset of disease. My recommendation would be to do a water change and increase the amount of veggies in the fishes diet (via tabs or flake) and watch for signs of sickness. I have not used Molly bright, but the manufactuer does say that is is safe for all aquariums and plants.

Good luck.

molly bright

i've heard of it, but never seen it. like theessigs said, you're just seeing a symptom.. possibly of internal parasites (what color is the poo?) but also possibly the water conditions (what are the ammonia, nitrites and nitrates at?)

My amonia is 0, and so is the nitrittes. I test the water every week with a kit. I do frequent water changes too. I dont understand what's going on with them swaying side to side in place. They dont do it all the time...only sometimes. I bought the Molly bright but I'm afraid to use it. One of my mollies has some cottony stuff on her head. I treated it with Melafix and Pimafix once before and it cleared it up, but now it's back. Last week I tried Rid-Fungus for 5 days but it didnt help. So yesterday I started the Pimafix again. Any ideas? She's swimming great and eating fine.

CCBettaCouple....Sorry I forgot to amswer your question on Poo color. From what I can tell it looks normal. If she is sick will it change color?

clear/white poo can be a sign of internal parasites (sometimes of diet). If that's not a fungus, it could be a parasite outbreak, but i wouldn't want to just guess at that without a pic.
