i have alot of them but their mother had ICH when they were born and i was planning on feeding the babys to my knife fish when they get bigger. is it safe for the knife fish? will it not get ich from them? the guppies are probably about 3 to 4 weeks old.

Please refer to my post in General discussion titled "Easily preventable diseases" Ich is "gotten" by fish with compromised immune systems, for the most part. You could isolate the babies with a heater set to keep the water above 82 degrees farenheit, or feed just enough for your fish to eat them right away, then make sure to keep up your waterchanges. If your other fish' system is not compromised previously it shouldn't make a big deal.
