HELP! my sharks have ich? and i want to fix it w/o hurting my other fish + frogs

I have a relatively new tank with only a couple of fish. I have 2 id sharks, one normal and one albino, 2 red serpea tetra and 4 aquatic or african dwarf frogs. so far only the sharks seem to have what apears to be ich. the regular one has it pretty bad and it all came on fast, like within a couple of days. now the albino one has some spots too.

what can I do to treat/ get rid of it with out hurting my other fish and the frogs

What is the temperature of your tank? Ich won't survive in higher temperatures, so perhaps you could temporarily nudge your heater up.

Keep the tank at 82 degrees minimum for 2 weeks to clear most ich cases. Treating Ich isn't necessary as the higher temps usually do the job, but we use Ich-Attack to treat Ich http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113016 it's safe for your tank and won't harm the good bacteria. it's organic and herbal so it's not a mild-smelling liquid, but it does work well and can help clear the ich.

even if the spots clear up, keep the temp up for the whole 2 weeks. that cuts the chances of any relapses.

my rainbow shark and my pleco have ick too. take your fish with ick out of your tank and put them in a seperate one with no plants ( ick meds will kill them) and with out a carbon filter. and put them in water over 82 degrees and by ick meds and they should be good as new.

By now the entire tank could be infected and should be treated or you could end up in a cycle of some having ich showing and others not.
