What Fish shall I move on to now?

Hello my fellow fish keeper's

well Ive had my Tank now for nearly 6months? Ive spend a good part of 30-40hours learning about tropical fish and there conditions.

I did what was best and started of with the easy fish guppys, plattys, plec's
and some special alge eaters I got to replace my pleco who died.

Had my first batch of fry a few days ago and all has gone well
my fish are very happy as I have provided them with everything they need!!
from hiding places to real plants.

Now I feel I am ready to move up a few levels.

Has anyone got any Idears on what breed of fish to go for next.

I would like to house made a few Discus or Cichlids

I have around a 130 liter tank for what i choose to house

thank you for your time

kind regards

I would say no to the discus, but as for easy fish, try researching kribensis cichilds and see if you would like them

Oh, yes, perfect cichlids for your tank will be South American cichlids, your tank is too small for the African ones. Try some of the more beautiful ones (that pretty much describes all of them) kribensis, German blue rams, golden rams, cockatoo apistos (though not all of them in the same tank).

I say no to the rams, the rams are expensive and pretty senstitive

IMO about the rams, they are indeed sensitive, and i got inferior quality, and doped they would recover and become beautiful like the pictures online, but they haven't. they are high matinance and skittish. go or angels, cockatoo, or agazzi south american cichlids. not discus, which are even harder than rams.
