Weird Round-ish things in tank. eggs?

Well, last night, i discovered tons of these little pale beige coloured round-ish things in the bottom of my tank. I checked online to see if they were eggs, but they don't look like any of the eggs for the type of fish i have in the tank. I have 2 plain goldfish, a pleco, and an albino cory... And when i say tons of these little round beige things, i mean there are a couple hundred..i scooped up the majority of them and put them in a breeding aparatus, and this afternoon, there are even more than there was yesterday, again, on the bottom of the tank. I'll have to take a picture, but i do not have a clue if these are eggs or not.....i should know, but i've never seen anything like it. I've seen my betta's eggs....and my platy's babies, but, nothing like this!!

not all are round, that's why i said "round-ish"...I'll try and post a pic in a bit..but has anyone had somethign weird like that? I only have a handful of gravel in the bottom...but whatever it is, it keeps happening by the heater, which is close to the bottom where these mystery things are.

Sound like goldfish eggs to me, does one of your goldfish chase the other one a lot?

The are very active goldfish....they both chase each other around, but yes, the smaller one likes to chase the bigger one around. I looked at golfish eggs, but they dont look like them....could they jsut be unfertilized and that's why they are beige?? I haven't a clue about goldfish eggs...lol...

Lol, well the little one chasing the big one is probably, little male chasing big female full of eggs You say you have found hundreds, you could end up with thousands I have goldfish in my pond, the reason for being near the heater could be 2 things,

1) Goldfish spawn in summer when it is warm, heater= warm
2) Goldfish spawn in plants, are there plants near the heater?

Are they in a jelly like substance? Could it be snail eggs (hopefully it's goldfish eggs instead)

Nope, there are no plants at all, and only a handful of gravel....i know, there should be more in the tank, but that tank had some problems when i had mollies in there, and my daughter has since declared the tank as hers....lol..and nope, no snails in there either. Whatever eggs they are....oh my, i cleared them all again this afternoon, and this evening, there is another couple hundred...lol.

oh, the goldfish, are "feeder" goldfish....my daughter wanted to recue them from the petstore because they were bigger than the rest and she though that with them being older, they would feel pain more being fed to some big fish...hehe...so, for 17 cents each, we brought them home..
