Fully stocked ?

Just wondered if we needed any more fish for the cleaning up or will are corys take care of it all ? also are we full to capacity of stock now ?
8 neon tetras,
4 lemon tetras,
2 dwarf honey red gouramis,
4 panda corys.

Are tank is 23.6 gallons, we are changing our filter pump on friday from a 400 to a 6oo to cope with the extra bio load of a fully stocked tank, as long as were keeping the filter media, will changing the pump cause any problems as we are fully cycled and dont want to be back to square one but we do need more filtration.

Aside from adding a cory or two, and a tetra or two, I think you're good. Congrats!

Hello Polojoanne,

As long as you keep the old filter media, there shouldn't be any issues with the cycle by adding the new filter.
Best of luck!

You should be fine with the extra filtration but keep up with water changes as they are the 2nd most important thing to do to keep good water. The corys will also do a great job of eating any uneaten food too. good luck
