Bioload/stocking question and a picture

My new 55 gallon has been cycling for a bit over a week now - It was really going slow, but I think I have turned the corner. The ammonia was still at 1 PPM this morning, but there is measurable nitrite (0.25 ppm), which was not there before. I think the gravel from my friend's tank (that I put in the filter housing) is helping. Attached is a picture - no fish yet, of course!

I have a question about stocking - as I research the types of fish I want, it seems very useful to know the relative 'bioloads." For example, I have gathered that kuhli loaches (which I am putting in when the tank is ready) have low bioloads, goldfish (which I have no interest in) are very high. But, most of the profiles and descriptions I can find don't include "bioload" information...does anyone know of a resource that lays out in a clear way the bioloads of various fish? This would really help me plan my stocking!

Your tank looks great! Below is a link to an article to help you understand what the bioload consists of. True that Goldfish are messy. Plecos on the other hand are also huge waste producers just to let you know.

It's another forum though, not sure if ok to post.

I deleted the link.

You can post a link as long as it's directly related to the question.
