Not sure, would love some angels but I think I am going to put them in the 35 that only has 2 danios in it for now. Maybe a school of rummy nose tetras........

Great job on the tank! Rummynose would be a great addition to the tank. Angels and bolivian rams are compatible as well. corys get along with most peaceful tropical fish.

Wouldnt angels and the rams take out all of the fry right away?

Yes, they would. I thought you were wanting to decrease your livebearer survival rate?

That is still the plan but I have some of the cutest platy fry and I would like for them to get big enough before I do it. I just love watching the babies and I am finding it hard to think of them becoming lunch. I am working on it because I have several pregnant females............

Well I dont know what is going on in my tank because I have 1-2 week old guppy fry swimming around with everyone else. They dont even hide. With the platies, I think because they are such a deep orange color they are more of a target. I have maybe 1-2 from three different batches that survived. BTW, I love the rams. They are super cool. I am going to put them in the big tank in about 2-3 weeks after they get a chance to really adjust to my water. I am thinking that the water in both tanks should be pretty close, am I right?

My guppy fry do the same in my guppy tank. There's no fear. It's kinda funny.

With platys, I'm lucky if I can find them before they become dinner. I do have angels in that tank, though, so that may be why.

More than likely, your water is close, but it would be a good idea to test it before the move. That'll hopefully prevent any acclimation issues.
